On March 27th 2021, André surprised Jessica with a trip into Manhattan. Upon arrival, they strolled through the newly built transportation hub and made their way to One World Trade. André made an impromptu suggestion that they explore the top of the tower.
Jessica questioned this, as the building was closed and, after all, the pandemic was still an issue. André insisted, and they made their way past security and were escorted by the director of events to the main elevator which took them to the observation deck.
At the doorway to the observatory, the director left them, and Jessica was greeted by rose petals, candles (and a sneaky photographer). They followed the path of petals to the northern face of the tower where they stood in a heart of petals.
André knelt before Jessica and asked her to be his wife.
Surrounded by a beautiful sunset and the brightening lights of New York City, they dined together above the stunning beauty.
